"Not what you think. I was just..." Even though Cradh was being honest, he sounded very unconvincing. He held his forehead in frustration. "See? This is why I hate mutts. They have a habit of showing up at the worse times. Lilith! The fact is- I still need your help. What will it take to get you to say yes?"

"you could have just asked her you idiot......"

"What, and end up in debt like you? Hah-"

"......." Tal growled and hit him again.

"Hey!" Cradh yelped, then gave the lycan a whap in return.

[FOOD FIGHT!]

Tal punched him in the nose....

[Bring it! FLYING DRAGON PIZZA KICK! HYA!]

Cradh sneered, and caught Tal's fist. "Down, boy-" He flicked the lycan really hard across the nose (like you'd do to dicipline a puppy). If he wasn't worried about looking even more like a bad guy in front of Lilith, he would've done more.

"Both of you stop fighting, Cradh get out of my house." Lilith said pissed.

So that was her answer. Cradh released the wolf-man's hand and looked back and forth between it and Lilith. "Fine, I'll leave you alone with your precious lycan." He clenched his fists twice, walked out the door, and disappeared into the night in silent fury.

It wasn't like anyone had willing helped him before, anyway; but it still bothered Cradh that Lilith would favor the furball over a creature closer to her kind. What a terrible blow to his ego... In very dark spirits, Cradh decided to head directly for Light Haven to get his mission over with. If he died, it wouldn't because he didn't follow orders or because a werewolf killed him...

Lilith turned to Tal, "Thanks. Well, you helped me, no more debt. So, bye?" She said a little saddened.

(reply damn it!)

"I didn't save your life......a debt must be repaid with something equal value......"

Lilith looked at him, "You can go if you want, I'm not to big on debts." She looked towards Ike's room, realizing she didn't even know his name.

"Nether am I....but Lycans do not break their promises, vows or debts...."

Using his glasses, Cradh peered several yards into the distance at a faintly glowing post on that marked the boundaries of the Light Haven barrier. Past the few bushes he was currently crouching under, there was very little cover. He watched a small chain of exorcists march past the glowing post on night patrol. Even though it was suicidal, there didn't seem to be much other choice. He slunk out of his hiding place and slowly approached the exorcists with his hands in the air signaling surrender. "Hello, I-" he was cut off when all six of them flew into action- surrounding him and holding up their crosses in a tiny, wooden barricade of holiness.

"Ha-HAH! We've got you now, evil denizen of the underworld!" said one.
"Do not move, or we shall poke you with our pointy, wooden nail like things."
"And rub your eyes with our mighty garlic smelling things."
"And beat on the head with our holy cross-shaped sticks!"

'What the--- kids? You've gotta' be kidding me,' Cradh thought. With a sigh, he lowered his arms and tried to conduct things peacefully, "Calm down, kids. I'm not gonna' kill anyone unless I have to. Just let me speak to your... erm... lord? Leader? Yeah, whoever's in charge around here."
"You mean Lady Eximus?" said the oldest one. Cradh nodded. The six kids drew back and chattered in a circle for a while before turning to Cradh again with frowning faces. "Alright, abonination. We'll let you speak with her holiness."
"B-but y-you... you gotta' promise not to lie. She hates lies," said the youngest one. Each of them then pulled out a whistle and blew it.

Shortly afterwards, a band of 15 mature exorcists showed up, attacked, and pummeled Cradh into unconsciousness.

"...Axis..." Cradh heard someone calling through the painful haze. "By the All Father, wake up Axis!" Something whacked him across the face and he finally came back to conciousness. When he did, he didn't like what he saw. A tall, old exorcist woman with gray hair and piercing green eyes was staring at him. Though she was obviously old, her face was still quite young and she looked hauntingly familiar.

"And who or what are you," Cradh winced through his headache. He tried to move, but found that he was tied fast to a large pillar covered in runes and holy script. The old exorcist grinned smugly and pat him on the shoulder.
"I'm the closest thing you'll get to a reflection these days," she said and strolled around the pillar casually observing his condition. "I am your twin sister."
"Hah," Cradh chuckled venomously, "That's a lie. I never had a sibling- much less a twin." the exorcist whacked him with the giant staff she was carrying again.
"Did so. And that's OLDER twin sister, thank you. Those bloody vampires have had you so long that you've nearly forgotten everying about your human life." Cradh glared at her in obvious disbelief. "Don't believe me, huh? Well, whether you want to or not, it's true. I am Lady Eximus, and you are my long dead brother Axis. You were once a brilliant musician who went around playing his music and spreading hope to the common people and the misfortunate everywhere." Eximus went on to talk about their family's wealth and how kind and generous Cradh was for a wealthy young man; but he could hardly stand to listen. No way was he that lame as a human... was he?
"So what if I was your brother? What's the point?" he suddenly spat. "I didn't come here to re-discover my past, grandma."

"Of course, of course. I know what you want," she said. "Like several vampires before you, you've come for our piece of The Holy Alaiasus. Unfortunately for you, it's protected inside of this." She held out a very large, ornate medallion that, to Cradh's eyes, seemed to emit a light so powerful that it scorched the depts of his soul. "The point is that up until today I've simply let the medallion kill any undead foolish enough to get near it. For you, however, dear brother, I have a little proposition... Interested?"

Lilith walked back into Ike's room, she sat next to him on the bed, "So what's your name?"

((Hmm.... nah. I'm not an entertainer, ya' know? If folks want things to happen, they should take action themselves instead of sitting around waiting for someone to come up with the action for them. What drives me crazy is when there's an entire rp of really bright and creative folks that don't take initiative... Let's all pitch in and make a story together, people~))
