"Sure ya do......." He said.

"I said MOVE!" He snapped, lunging forward suddenly. He faked a head on assault aimed at the lycan's throat, then- side stepped like lightning and tried to take out furball's legs from the side with a sharp kick.

Goal: Get to town before sunrise no matter what.

Dodged the throat attack but the leg attack hit him....He fell but immediately jumped back up.

Cradh was waiting for him. He aimed another blow at the lycan's gut, but came up short. Since his energy was going into fighting at the moment, he'd shrunken down to 4'3" again. "!#@*$!" he thought.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Lilith asked Tal.

".....Hahahahaha! Your almost cute as a kid.......well.....time ta die....."

Lilith stared at Tal, "Answer me!"

"Oh....you were talking to me?" He said still in fighting stance

"Don't bother, Lilith. 'Mutt's too stupid to walk on two legs, much less talk," Cradh said, and took up a fighting stance of his own.

".....Well that was a void insult.....Are you blind and deaf? I AM standing up two two legs and I AM speaking...."

"Hah! Blind maybe, but not deaf. Nothing your kind says is worth listening to, anyhow." Cradh felt victorious at least in that attention was drawn away from his size. He sneered, "You are inferior."

( Geez, he's arrogant.)

"Inferior?" Tal walked up to Cradh and looked down at him....."Well....Lets just see about that...."

Cradh found himself slightly intimidated at his opponently size. He hated being intimidated. Rather than attack first this time, he prepared to defend himself.

He considered leaving Lilith behind as bait and making a run for town, but besides such decisions being a violation of his pride, it was really hard to find good help these days. If she lived until the next night, he'd hoped to use her again on one of his later missions...

"Both of you stop it!" Lilith said,she walked over to Tal, "I saved your life, you owe me."

"Yes I know....but an owe to your life can not stop me from killing him.......pluse.....It looked like you didn't even want to go with him....."

Lilith thougt about it, he had been dragging her and carrying her. "..."

"........" He had grabbed Cradh by the neck so he couldn't run an was slowly pushing a claw into his skin.

Lilith couldn't think of a way to save him. She walked over, "Let him go."

"Gimme a good reason to.."

"You were beaten half to death when you TRIED to kill me, what do you think they'll do when they find you after this?" She smirked, it seemed like a very good reason.

"That was only because i was caught unawares.....And you know it!"

"Do you really think you can take on 10 vampires if they come after you? 20?"

It was a good thing Cradh didn't have to breath, but there was still the issue of pain. Even though he was small, he at least maintained his strength. With his left hand, he grabbed the wrist of the lycan's gripping hand, and began to squeeze tightly- faster than the lycan was on his (Cradh's) neck. He WOULD make the mutt let go, even it it meant breaking his whole arm off.

"Let him go." Lilith pulled Tal's arm off of Cradh, forcing Cradh to let go also.

Some of Cradh's hard earned blood trickled down his neck where the werewolf had dug his claws. Oddly enough, however, he wasn't so concerned about the humiliating injury. What he wondered now was why Lilith, a mere half-vampire, would go through so much trouble to stop them from tearing each other apart. No one had ever cared much whether he lived or died, not even his kinsmen. It was somehow... intriguing.

"You want to talk to the lycan? Fine," he grumbled and rubbed his wound. "But don't blame me when he turns out to be too stupid to reason with."
He might have walked off right then if he wasn't curious to hear what she had to say.
